Fishing at Fullsenn

Arnebergbua sits in the Øystre Slidre state common – a continuous stretch of mountain terrain where you can travel for miles on foot or by bike. Beyond the toll gate on the seter road, the cabin is your base: the lake below the tun, walks from the door, and a seter landscape still in use.

Fishing in the Øystre Slidre state common

Fullsenn is a good trout lake, and the rowing boat and canoe in the boathouse are free to use. The nearest fishing waters are in Finnefjorden – the part of the lake you row into from the boathouse. A fishing permit for the state common is bought from Inatur and covers around 80 other lakes in the area, with trout in nearly all of them. Young people fish free through the year they turn 20.
